So, this is SO exciting! Finally, my shop is back up and running! I had a shop inside Salon Suites around 6 years ago. 2 weeks after opening I found out I was pregnant with my son. I stayed open for a few months, just to cover my costs of opening. So, here I am now, 5 years later and even more kids, add 2 girls to the equation! Having 3 kids in a recession has encouraged me to go back to work. But I’m not complaining! I have my own business, with my own room, own schedule and I LOVE what I do! I will do my best to work with your schedule, and respectfully my own, for my kids sake. I’m always a momma 1st! I have a very supportive husband who helps me out alot! He has put together this website among many other things! I’m currently trying to build my clientele back up, so if you know anyone who needs a hairdresser, please refer me! I don’t have all the details worked out yet, but those who refer people, (That show up) I will give a special! So let’s get the word spreadin’!
I’ve been doing hair for more than 10 years. I LOVE doing colors and hi-lites! I’m pretty dern good at color corrections, due to the amount of women that try to save money and do their own hair. Don’t do that! But if you do and find yourself in a nightmare… call… FAST! LOL! On which note, I have very reasonable prices! I’ve also worked in 2 or 3 reputable spas, where my clientele took off great! Most of my clients refused to go anywhere else! I do miss doing manicures and pedicures and hope to have them in my shop eventually.
A little about Salon Suites…. hmmm. Well, it’s at Kansas Expressway and Battlefield Rd in a strip mall. Right next to VIP Tanning and McAlisters. There is parking in the front and back for your convenience. It’s a big one level building with rooms that are rented out to health/beauty businesses. There are many different shops with different services. When you schedule your hair appointment feel free to schedule a facial, manicure, pedicure, massage and etc with the other businesses in Salon Suites! Visit www.salonsuitesyourdayspa.com and click on ‘business directory’ for those other great services. My shop , Studio Trendz, is in Suite #22. It’s a 10×10 room that you will walk straight to when entering the building. If you get lost, or need help, there is an office at the front where someone will be happy to direct you. I enjoy working here rather than booth rental for many reasons. Mainly, I enjoy a one on one with my client. It’s peaceful and personal, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the salon atmosphere. Yet, having everything you need just down the hall! For safety measures, Salon Suites is security controlled in the evenings and off days. So you won’t have to worry! What more could you ask for?!
